Mavera Mazhar graduated as a Computer Engineer from NUST in 2012. She holds a Masters degree from NUST in Computer Engineering with specialization in Machine Learning and Pattern Recognition. She has topped the university in MS program with the highest CGPA of 4.0/4.0. Before moving to ITU in October 2015, Mavera has worked in both NUST and a multi-national software firm as a Teaching Assistant and Communications & HCI Engineer, respectively. Her research mainly focuses on Data Science, Bio-medical Informatics and Engineering including elaborate research in ECG, EEG and rfMRI. Mavera has authored three publications in the fields of Signal Processing, Digital System Designs and Machine Learning in internationally acclaimed IEEE conferences. Currently, her three conference and three journal publications are under review.
